Video Projects
For the website's Learning Center page, I produced a “How To” build video of the company's most popular bookshelf speaker stand. The goal was to make it quick, concise, and dynamic. It was a two-camera production with a single lighting setup. In the editing phase, I used the Dynamic Link connection in Premier Pro with Photoshop to incorporate various modified photo assets into the video. After Effects was also used through Dynamic Linking with Premier Pro.

In a new series I developed called “Intro To Audio,” I explain audio components in a simple manner. Because a turntable has various parts, this provided an excellent opportunity to showcase an “exploded” view of the unit. Working between Photoshop, Premier Pro, and After Effects. I cut out each piece and separated them into layers. I then cleaned each part using various tools (clone/stamp, brushes, selection techniques, etc.). In Premier Pro, I animated each layer, added masks, and fine-tuned the composition.
The remainder of the video comprises a multi-cam production with various focal lengths, dynamic compositions, and lighting setups.

I started with the hero shot while incorporating graphics to differentiate the three models. I also used a light with a grid to give the background some depth with a bit of a spotlight effect. After that, I went in for some close-up work to showcase the stands and inform the viewer of the options available.

This was a b-roll heavy video with various lighting set-ups. The objective was to highlight specific items, so most of the work was done through the use of graphic elements to “highlight” them.

The talent used in our videos was on vacation. So Instead of slowing down the output of videos by waiting until his return, I saw this as an opportunity to get in front of the camera and give it a go. I have a travel YouTube channel, so it wasn’t very new to me. For this project, however, I wanted to record myself with a two-camera setup.

A product newsletter was scheduled to go out and the stakeholders wanted a 60 sec. video to go along with it. As a one-man production, I was able to accomplish the writing, filming, and editing just in time for the newsletter release. This project had a two-day turnaround.

This was a multicamera production that was written and directed by the talent. As the videographer, I worked closely with his direction to get the shots he was after. And as the editor, I worked to showcase enough of the process without the pacing dragging on too much.
* Segment bumpers were created and provided by co-editor.

This turntable was available to purchase on Amazon and the team wanted a 60 sec. video to attach to the product page. It was a two-day turnaround.
