When visiting Riga, Latvia, there is no better lodging than this centrally located apartment hosted by #RigaBackstage. Available for rent through the Airbnb platform, this 4.79 star-rated space delivers a great experience on various levels. From the excellent communication with the host; to the easy check-in/ check-out process; to the beautiful interior design that is both modern and comfortable (especially when it comes to the memory foam pillows. Yes, please!). Additionally, one cannot forget to mention the shower experience in which its spaciousness and modern aesthetic provides you the ultimate relaxation experience imaginable. If that wasn't enough, the location of this apartment rests between Old Town Riga and the Central District, the two main areas where you will spend the majority of your time. If your objective is venturing out on day trips, then again, the location is perfect. Riga's central train/bus station is right around the corner, where routes to other areas of Latvia are readily available. Have time to spend before a train or bus ride? If so, why not enjoy Riga's famous Central Market, which lies a 10-minute walk from the apartment.
Visualization & Design:
As soon as you walk into this apartment, a modern interior with a yellow, black, and grey color scheme engulfs your visual senses. It is an aesthetic we showcase throughout the presentation through narration, camera work, and editing techniques. Regarding the narration, not only does it work to describe the apartment, it was written and performed in a way that speaks directly to both short and long-term travelers. An "Anthony Bourdain style" presentation, if you will. The camera work combined various focal lengths that often start wide and then move in for close-ups; the kitchen scene is an excellent example of this. Additionally, the slow pan and tilt camera movements mesh well with the modern aesthetic of the interior design. At the same time, we included tripod shots to allow the talent's actions to continue a gentle sense of motion. Finally, in the editing phase, we took a documentary-style approach to the edit. Thus, the viewer (potential renter) enjoys both a visual and auditory journey of what they will experience when renting this apartment.
